If you're a CQB player with too many friends at your local site, here's how you lose them! The Tokyo Marui Saiga-12 SBS Gas Blowback Shotgun is a purebred CQB dominator, sending 3 BBs downrange per shot for a realistic shotgun-style spread. While this is the SBS (Short Barreled Shotgun) version of the Saiga-12K, it is also remarkably effective outdoors with 0.28g BBs, as we would expect from Airsoft Gods, Tokyo Marui.
Build-wise, we are treated to full metal external construction with a steel top cover, fire selector, trigger guard and trim parts, all beautifully finished to match the real Saiga-12. AK nerds will notice the enlarged ejection port designed for 3-inch magnum shotgun shells and the frankly ferocious breacher-style muzzle choke, keeping the Saiga-12 visually distinct from its rifle-calibre sibling. Realistic markings adorn each side of the receiver and bolt carrier, giving the Saiga-12 SBS the iconic Russian look.
Being a CQB-optimised short-barreled shotgun, this Saiga-12 is rocking a 20mm Picatinny railed handguard with removable side rails and an optional bottom rail included in the box, meaning you can dress it up with your usual CQB laser and light doodads. The stock is mounted on the prolific M4/AR-15 buffer tube, though this one is skeletonised to reduce weight and folds to the side, leaning into the compact nature of the SBS version. This beast also features a full auto fire mode, a truly terrifying prospect for the enemy team!
